Knowledge

Since the beginning when Adam and Eve took a bite from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, man has continually manifested that knowledge into the very things we see today. Aristotle stated “All men desire to know” and the evidence of this is by the arts and sciences we have today. All things down from cooking, painting, fashion, smithing and so on were created because of man’s hunger to know. But one thing we desire to know more than anything is our future. For this cause we created divination and horoscopes. However, common sense should tell us our entire life is not in the hands of 12 zodiac signs. We often try to create our own path but it is written “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Pro 14:12 KJV). God himself said “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” We as people have the right to choose the path we want, but often we choose the wrong way because we feel its the easy way out. Yet even Jesus creates a parallel statement to the previous scripture by saying “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” God is steady warning us to take his path and he does this daily by causing events to happen in your life to make you ponder your destination, and yet because of the pride inside of us we make our lives harder than it is suppose to be. God doesn’t want us to live a hard life, he wants us to be full of joy but how can you expect that joy if you neglect the signs God is giving you to turn from your own knowledge and seek his. For God’s word is a lamp to one’s feet. Our Knowledge cannot see pass the darkness the fruit from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil has created. But with God’s knowledge we cannot overcome that darkness.
